Chipamong Chowdhury esitleb: Budistlike filmide õhtu

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring (Korea 2008)

Kirjanduses ja filmides kujutatakse budistlike munki peamiselt emotsioonitute olevustena. Taimaa, Sri Lanka, Korea, Jaapani ja Tiibeti uuemad budistlikud filmid aga kujutavad emotsionaalseid (huumorimeelega, naervad, vihased, armukadedad) buda munki.

Chipamong Chowdhury kutsub kõiki filmisõpru nautima budistlikke filme ja iga viib filmi lõpus läbi väikese arutelu.

=====================================================

Due to their depiction in documentaries, feature films and coffee table books,
we often romanticize Buddhist monks as emotionless being.
Recent Buddhist films in Thailand, Sri Lanka, Korea, Japan, and Tibet depict
wide range of emotional lives (humors, laughs, anger, jealousy, and basic
irritation) of the Buddhist monks.
